Asia-Pacific Patients Congress
Painaustralia has been selected to present regional experiences at the Asia-Pacific Patients Congress: Patient Leadership in Health Systems Strengthening, a virtual event that will be held from 3–4 December 2020. We will showcase a poster and video presentation to highlight the need for consumers with lived experience of chronic pain to be at the forefront of health policy development and implementation.
Painaustralia CEO Carol Bennett will also share a story at the Patient Shouting Café session, where consumer organisation representatives will share their stories of patient harm, denial of access, discrimination and other complaints or challenges faced when accessing healthcare.
