Project ECHO

The Menzies Centre for Health Policy and Economics at the University of Sydney held a symposium in October for primary care health professionals about Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes).

The project aims to promote management of people in their community rather than in specialist clinics. It also places healthcare providers in direct contact with subject matter experts.

The project has developed a community of practice for ECHO projects for persistent pain. Further details are available in the recent webinar.
